Former Montreal Alouettes quarterback Sam Etcheverry has not signed with the the New York Giants. He was traded to Hamilton Tiger-Cats five weeks ago. (He would eventually sign with the St. Louis Cardinals and play in the National Football League for two seasons). Later, he would coach the Alouettes for three seasons (1970-72), winning one Grey Cup (1970)
