Canadian Football League Player of the Day: Danny Bass

Danny Bass played for the Toronto Argonauts (1980-81), Calgary Stampeders (1981-83), and Edmonton Eskimos (1984-91).

He was an All-Canadian linebacker in 1982, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989 and 1990), and played in two Grey Cups for the Edmonton Eskimos, including the 1987 champions. In 1989, he received the Schenley Award for the Most Outstanding Defensive Player.  

Bass was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
