Today's Player: George Dixon

George Dixon played for the Montreal Alouettes for 7 seasons (1959-65). He was selected All-Eastern and All-Canadian running back in 1962 and 1963, and received the Schenley Award for Most Outstanding Player in 1962.

Dixon was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1974, and was voted to the Honour Roll of the Canadian Football League's top 50 players of the league's modern era by the Canadian sports network (TSN).

He died on August 6, 1990, at the age of 56.
