Harvey Wylie played for the Calgary Stampeders for 9 seasons  (1956-64). He was named All-Western defensive back 5 times (1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963) and All-Canadian defensive back twice (1962, 1963).

Wylie was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1980.
