Today's Player: Jerry "Soupy" Campbell

Jerry "Soupy" Campbell played in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders (1966-68, 1976) and Ottawa Rough Riders (1968-75).

He was an All-Eastern linebacker 7 times (1968-70, 1972-1975) and All Canadian linebacker 7 times (1969-75). He played for 3 Grey Cup Champions (1968, 1969, 1973).

Campbell was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1996.

He died on August 9, 2017, at the age of 73.
