Hamilton Tiger-Cats lineman John Barrow says some National and American Football League teams are offering Canadian Football League players bonuses and large contracts to play out their options and sign with them for the 1964 season.

(Barrow played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 1957 to 1970. After retiring as a player, he became the general manager of the Toronto Argonauts from 1971 to 1975. He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1976.)
