Canadian Football League Player (& Coach) of the Day: Ron Lancaster

Ron Lancaster played for the Ottawa Rough Riders (1960-62), and Saskatchewan Roughriders (1963-78). participating in 5 Grey Cups. He won the Most Outstanding Player Award in 1976.

He was a head coach in the CFL for 16 years with the Saskatchewan Roughriders (1979-80), Edmonton Eskimos (1991-97), and Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1998-2006), compiling a career record of 142-137-1, and winning 2 Grey Cups.

He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1982.
