Garney Henley played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1960-75). 

Henley was an All-Eastern and All Canadian Defensive Back from 1963 through 1971. In 1972, He was named All-Eastern and All Canadian Receiver and received the Schenley Award for Most Outstanding Player in the Candian Football League.

Henley played on Grey Cup winning teams in 1963, 1965, 1967, and 1972, and was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1979.
