Canadian Football League Player of the Day: Chuck Ealey

Chuck Ealey played in the Canadian Football League for 7 seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1972-74), Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1974-75), and Toronto Argonauts (1975-78).

He led the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to a win in the 1972 Grey Cup, and was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie and Grey Cup Most Valuable Player that season.

Ealey passed for 13,326 yards and 82 touchdowns during his CFL career.

He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2022, based on his playing career at the University of Toledo.
