Canadian Football League Player of the Day: George Reed, Saskatchewan Roughriders (1963 - 1975)

Running back George Reed played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders (1963-75).  He gained over 1,000 yards during 11 of 13 seasons. He played in 4 Grey Cups (1966, '67, '69, '72), and was the CFL Most Outstanding player in 1965.

Reed was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1979.
