Player of the Day: Bill Symons

Bill Symons played in the Canadian Football League for 8 seasons with the BC Lions (1966), and Toronto Argonauts (1967-73). He played in the 1971 Grey Cup.

Symons was named Eastern All-Star and Canadian All-Star in 1968 and 1970. He received the Jeff Russel Memorial Trophy in 1970 as the Most Outstanding Player in the CFL Eastern Division.

He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1997, and the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.
