Player of the Day: Tommy Grant

Tommy Grant played in the Canadian Football League for 14 years with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1956-68) and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1969).

He was received the Gruen Award for Eastern Division Rookie of the Year in 1956. In 1964, Grant was named All-Canadian flanker and received the Schenley Award for Most Outstanding Canadian. He played on four Grey Cup champions (1957, 1963, 1965, 1967).

Grant was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1995 and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Wall of Honour in 2010.

He died October 18, 2011, at the age of 76.
