Prior to being a head coach, Keys played for 6 seasons with the Montreal Alouettes (1949-51), and Edmonton Eskimos (1952-54), playing for two Grey Cup champions (1949, 1954). He was an assistant coach for the Edmonton Eskimos (1955-58), and Saskatchewan Roughriders (1965-70)
Keys was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1990.
He died on December 20, 2012, at the age of 89.

Willie "The Wisp" Fleming played in the Canadian Football League for the BC Lions (1959 to 1966), scoring the winning touchdown in the 1964 Grey Cup. He gained 6,125 yards rushing, 4,480 receiving yards, and scored 86 touchdowns during his 8-year career.
Fleming was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1982.

It was a wise investment. The Amazon website indicates it is out of print and no longer available. My search did not reveal any used copies available anywhere on the Internet.
It is a must have resource for anyone doing research about the Canadian Football League (CFL). It includes a player register, which lists every CFL player from 1946 thru 2011. Also included are game scores for every regular season, playoff and Grey Cup game for the same time period. It is 621 pages filled with information for anyone interested in the rich history of the CFL.

Harry "Bud" Grant played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1953-56) and was their head coach for 10 seasons (1957-66). The Blue Bombers won four Grey Cups during his tenure as coach (1958, 1959, 1961, & 1962), and he was the CFL Coach of the Year in 1965.
He went on to coach the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League for 18 seasons (1967-83, '85), and led the Vikings to four Super Bowls.
Grant was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1983, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio in 1994.
